Twenty years ago a group of practitioners started asking a question the medical world kept answering too simply: why does pain show up so differently in every body, every generation, every family. The work that came out of that question took Faeve from a botanical cosmetic company to a pharmaceutical one. Kevo-Prophen was listed under NDC 87607-001-01 on April 20, 2026, as an OTC monograph drug under M017. 

About the way it smells. Open it and you get woodsmoke and warm resin, a little medicinal, the way something built to work smells rather than something built to be pleasant. That comes from the active ingredient, Juniperus Oxycedrus (Juniper Tar Oil) 1%, which is drawn from the wood itself. We did not mask it with fragrance. Most people notice it strongly for a minute or two, then it softens into something quiet and woody on the skin. Plenty of our customers tell us they came to like it. 

How to use it. Adults and children 2 years of age and older: apply to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Children under 2 years of age: do not use, consult a physician. For external use only. Made in the USA. 

Active ingredient: Juniperus Oxycedrus (Juniper Tar Oil) 1%. Purpose: pain reliever.
